Spiderman (1967)
It was Canadian cartoon and it probably have the coolest theme song ever for a cartoon.
Rocket Robin Hood
It was a Canadian cartoon by the same people that made the Spiderman cartoon above
Mighty Hercules
A Canadian cartoon too, very cheaply made, but still fun.
Goldorak
Originally a Japanese series called Grandizer. At the end of 1970s, it was dubbed in French and it was huge success. After that it was translated in other languages.
Thunderbirds
The classic and ageless series.
The theme music interpreted by Royal Marines Band
Stingray
Captain Scarlet

I remember The Mighty Hercules and Thunderbirds. The others I don’t think I watched; maybe they were not available in the US.
The dumbest kids’ shows they had in the 60s were the Banana Splits, HR Puffnstuff and Lancelot Link, Secret Chimp. The last one was especially stupid — it had real chimps in it, acting like humans. Probably not be allowed today by the animal rights folks.

Oh wait, I think I do remember Stingray. The puppets! the puppets!
This must have inspired Team America: World Police.

All Gerry Anderson puppets shows were dubbed in French and shown in Quebec and I’ve seen all of them when I was a kid.

I love me some supermarionation, Stingray was my favorite. Stingraaaaaay …. Stingray!
I also fondly remember Lancelot Link.
Back then (putting on my old coot hat) before you had your fancy cable, there were two kinds of kids shows, network (shown everywhere) and syndicated (spotty coverage according to the whims of local tv stations). Most of the shows mentioned here (except for Lancelot Link and Banana Splits) were syndicated.
Where I grew up the syndicated kid shows sucked mud. Any time we traveled I saw great shows like Ultraman, Herculese, Simba etc and back home it was nothing but Disney knock offs made on the cheap. Also we couldn’t get any ABC station where I grew up so I missed cool stuff like Batman, Land of the Giants etc. (yes, I’m still bitter).

You were really deprived, Cliff!
I think Batman’s on DVD, and I saw Land of the Giants on one of the online TV sites. I think it was Hulu.com, but not sure.

HR PuffnStuff was written and produced by people who were high on acid and dope all the time. It was really surreal, and contained numerous drug references (which went way over my 10-year-old head). I still remember the theme song:
HR PuffnStuff
Who’s your friend when things get rough?:
HR PuffnStuff
You can’t do a little ‘coz you can’t do enough!
I remember puzzling over the last line quite a bit. I had no idea what it meant. And then there were the talking mushrooms. . .

I had no idea what “One Toke Over the Line” meant either. And apparently, neither did Lawrence Welk:

Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom, anyone? The most boring television show ever invented, except for broadcasts of professional golf tournaments.

I remember “Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom”, it was dubbed in French it was boring.
I had a friend when I was kid and his father was working for Coca-Cola, so they purchased him a shirt with COCA written on it but it was not looking at all like the Coca-Cola acronym, it was written in ordinary letters and in green. The guy was wearing it everywhere. After seeing it, my mother explained to me that COCA didn’t mean Coca-Cola it meant cocaine.

Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom WAS the most boring TV show ever produced.
Remember those T-shirts that were red and white and read “Cocaine” on them in the same lettering style as Coca Cola?
Those T-shirt makers would get sued for doing those today! Everything’s about getting sued.

I remember the lone ranger cartoon too.
There was singer that composed a song called “cocaina my love” in Quebec at the end of 1970s and when he sung it on TV, there were people dancing around him and he threw at them powdered sugar.
